LPC Supervision
Selecting your LPC Supervisor is one of the most important steps in your career.
You need someone not only to encourage you, but also challenge you to try new interventions and techniques, expand your knowledge, and help develop your therapeutic and professional skills.
What is supervision like with me?
Much like therapy, supervision is collaborative and offers an active feedback process. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and I want to tailor supervision to you and your needs. My most important role as your supervisor is to ensure that you are authentic and your practices are highly competent and ethical.
What to expect from me as your supervisor:
Individual weekly sessions, held in-person or virtually, with additional consultation as needed.
Feedback and guidance on counseling techniques, assessment, diagnosis, ethics, and application of theories.
Review of case notes, documentation, and treatment plans.
Review of best practices.
Helping you integrate your preferred therapeutic style into your sessions to generate great clinical outcomes.
A safe and supportive environment while challenging you to rise to new heights.
What I am looking for in an LPC Associate:
An attitude of curiosity and respect for the clients you serve, as well as an openness to learn about yourself throughout the process.
A strong ethical and moral foundation. Please know your Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors Code of Ethics. You can find them here.
A willingness to learn and ask questions.
An individual who accepts responsibility, is committed and respectful of the supervisor-supervisee relationship, is organized, exhibits commitment to time management, and follows through with recommendations, referrals, and chart corrections.
Dedication to the counseling profession and willingness to advance your skills by attending continuing education opportunities.
An individual who is flexible and open to feedback, guidance, and collaboratively setting goals toward professional growth.
My fees:
I charge a monthly supervision fee of $400.
