The duration of therapy varies for each individual and depends on your unique goals and needs. Some clients find relief and achieve their objectives in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. The pace of therapy is a collaborative decision, and we'll regularly assess progress together. Ultimately, the goal is to provide the support you need for as long as you find it beneficial.
-
Our first session will be spent getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and determining the goals you are hoping to achieve. We will review my policies, informed consent, confidentiality, and I will answer any questions you may have. We will use the remainder of the session gathering history about you, and I will also begin teaching you skills to help bring you some relief.

As of January 1, 2022 the No Surprises Act requires providers to inform their uninsured and private pay clients that they had a right to a “Good Faith Estimate” to help them estimate the expected charges they may be billed.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give need to give patients (clients) who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure you save a copy or a picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
